Jürgen Sonder

President

Jürgen Sonder is Chairman of the Senior Advisory Board of the Intrum Group in Germany starting with January 1, 2019. Previously, he was Managing Director of Intrum Justitia GmbH from 2012 to 2018 and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the Intrum Group in Germany from 2017 on. He has been active in the financial services industry for over 35 years and has initiated and managed successful transactions worth several billion Euros. Jürgen Sonder worked for over 15 years at the world’s leading information servicer Dun & Bradstreet in Germany and England, followed by 20 years as Managing Director at leading European financial services companies such as EOS and Arvato, among others. Sonder, who has graduated in business administration (MBA) and has a degree in strategic financial management from the University of St. Gallen, is also a certified quality management consultant.

Dr. Marcel Köchling

Vice President

Dr. Marcel Köchling is Managing Director of PRA Group Deutschland GmbH and is responsible for investments in non-performing unsecured loans in Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Poland, the Netherlands and Italy). From mid-2007 until the end of 2011, he worked for Lone Star Germany GmbH managing, among other things, the investments in non-performing loans and real estate in the German market. Prior to this, Köchling was employed at Hudson Advisors Germany GmbH, where he oversaw the asset management of various loan portfolios. In addition, Köchling, who holds a doctorate in business administration, was responsible for transactions involving distressed companies at a management consultancy specialised in turnaround situations.

Helmut Rüd

Vice President

As a trained banking specialist, Helmut Rüd worked as an auditor in two credit institutions since 1984, where he also gained his first management experience. At Citibank Privatkunden AG, he changed within the company in 1991 from auditing to risk management and remained in this area of activity for several years as head of the debt collection department. In 1998, he moved to the head office in Düsseldorf, where he held the position of Head of Front and Back End Collection Policy. In 2004 Rüd took over the position of Managing Director at the Swedish SEB Bank subsidiary Union Inkasso GmbH in Frankfurt. After the subsidiary was transferred to Hoist AG, he continued to work for Hoist as a member of the Management Board with large responsibilities for operations. Subsequently, he was Managing Director and COO at Lindorff GmbH before he took up his current position as Head of Key Account at Grevenbroicher dohr Inkasso GmbH in 2013.

Holger Dickhäuser

Treasurer

Holger Dickhäuser is Managing Director of Inkasso Kodat GmbH & Co. KG and GCV Gesellschaft für Capital- und Vermögensverwaltung mbH. He studied law at the Ruhr University of Bochum and completed his legal traineeship at the Essen District Court. Following this, he completed advanced training and became a certified business economist (IHK). Holger Dickhäuser worked for several years in the legal department of Hoist GmbH as well as in the operative area in a position of high management responsibility. He also works as a freelance lecturer in adult education for IHK further education professions and is a member of the legal committee of the Federal Association of German Debt Collection Agencies (BDIU e.V.).
